in the photos and is probably about 4' off the ground (I'm not sure of the standard height...this is one that Bea has on her property for practice) The A frame is the steep incline going up to a peak, then steep decline (shaped like the letter "A") and in competition the A frame is set quite steep. The dog is required to touch the contact zones on each side of it, so they can't just leap off and injure themselves.

Like I said, I've only taken a couple classes and don't know all of the ins and outs yet When a dog is first learning they have everything set low and a more gradual angle. It really looks like fun--another thing to try one of these days! (I know once I get out there, I'll get the bug!)

As for Moxie vs. Gabe--I'm sure she's going to go to much further lengths in agility as that is Bea's favorite dog sport. I think she does hope to get her utility title in obedience, her rally titles, breed championship and tracking. Yes, it IS pretty fun to have your babies go to homes where they can reach their potential in every way!
