I know your heart is in the right place but I believe there are many resources that are already available and in place for newer people to take advantage of. If I were interested in something, let's say basketball, I would do as much research into the sport as possible. There are many basketball resources available such as basketball camps, men's leagues, etc. I would also watch as much amateur (college) and professional basketball as I could. And then I would practice, practice and practice.
I feel that there are too many newer people interested in Bulldogs that would rather sit behind their computers and try to learn from there without expending the time and effort to go out to shows and meet breeders. There are so many more Bulldog specialty clubs as compared to many breeds and almost in every part of the country that people could join or at least look into. There's the Parent Club to reach out to also. As far as handling goes, many all-breed clubs (that are also in almost every part of the country) sponsor conformation handling classes that can be attended regularly or just dropped in on. Obedience classes are everywhere.
I guess the info is out there and people just have to go get it.
