Bulldogs should be good

period....not just with kids. I personally have seen some really bad temperment bulldogs in the ring that have been bred. Is that not just as bad as health problems and confirmation problems.

Kid proof is probably the best telling factor...if not they should be altered and never used in a breeding program.

My father once almost put down his most beloved Doberman because he bit my sister when she was a baby. It really was more the lack of parental control then the dogs fault. She had crawled on him when he was sleeping and the bite actually left a scar in her neck to this day. My dad was so torn. He didn't destroy Manny but they never used him at stud and they trained us kids better . Never crawl on a Doberman when they are sleeping...or any dog for that matter.

Kids do need to be trained! They can be very abusive without even knowing they are. They should always be watched with dogs. But a truly agressive dog should NOT be used in a breeding program.
