the only DQ for bulldogs is Dudley in this country, and most people would list them as their coat color in that case, not by pigment color. Black is not a DQ although highly undesireable. AKC will register dogs that ARE a disqualifying color, just as long as they are purebred from AKC parents. I know some breeds have expressed issue with that, but, AKC really needs the money, I don't see this practice stopping soon.
