Three years ago, my little gal, Pip was born! About HALF the size of her littermates, she was dubbed, "Ounce" by her breeder.
She & two of her littermate "keepers" got a bad virus when they were just 3 mos old and very nearly didn't make it. But after several rounds of ABs she pulled through! (a typical BuLLy overcomer!)
When she was six months old or so, one of the other Alpha Gals in the kennel decided to show her who was boss (like she did all the dogs)...but Pip wouldn't take the confrontation laying down...she stood up to her! So started a couple months of back & forth fights, breaking through kennel runs, etc.
Pip's breeder also saw how sad this little gal was to be in a kennel...she would sit outside & watch the house intently...waiting for SOMEONE to come be with her. She could also tell that she was a very smart little lady dog. Another breeder suggested she should contact me to see if I might want to work with her...and, so, a few weeks later, at 8 months, The Pipster came to live with me...

She immediately began her tutorial in the Mdm Sitting Bulldogge School of P'Etiquette & Charm, and soon graduated Magna Cum Laudee Dah!
But, alas, her hard-knock life was not yet over. Just after experiencing her first heat cycle, Miss Pip came down with pyometra, a serious uterine infection...she responded well to the treatment, but the vet advised us she must either be spayed OR bred on her next cycle. Being an important part of our breeding program, it was decided we would have a litter with her and, so it was, that Pip became the proud mother to three beautiful white wonders just a few days before the Christmas of 2006! This "Jingle BuLL" litter included the Special Boy, Gabe...who remains at home with his Momma to this day!

So...HaPpY 3rd BiRtHDaY to our girl, Pip!!! And for her Bday Gift, she's asking all her Pals to VOTE for her Boy, Gabe (Ha! Ha!...you KNOW I HAD to get that in there somewhere!!! )
