if we all looked hard enough (sometimes it's not very hard to find at all) some dogs with questionable temperaments in all of our pedigrees. Most recently, some very high profile and popular dogs. I just feel a certain set of circumstances have to come together for lightning to strike. If you watched the special on the Mike Vick dogs, at least half of the former fighting dogs were rehabilitated and adopted out. These were dogs that endured extreme abuse and what most would consider higher risk. All dogs will carry some undesirable genes. Sometimes we just don't know about them. It was not the dogs' fault. To everyone their own though.
