Anything PETA or any of the AR groups support should throw up an immediate red flag. Bear in mind what their ultimate goals are, no pets and no one eating meat, eggs, milk or anything but veggies and even at that some of the really stupid ones say plants have feelings, too! Give these people an inch and they will take a mile slowly, but surely. Do not get me wrong, all animals should be treated humane and with respect, but we should all have the right to choose a steak or corn instead of some law ultimately deciding for us. If you want to buy eggs from a free range farm and pay more for them, you should have that right, but if you want to buy eggs from a farm using a cage system at a cheaper price, you should also have that right, too. As more and more of our population have no dealings with farming, we must educate them as to where our food comes from and in order for there to be enough to feed all of us at reasonable prices, large scale farming is a must, unless we all get a cow, some pigs and chickens to put in our back yards. Even though I do not live in your state, I encourage the ones of you who do to vote no. Sorry for the soap box, but as you can tell this is a very important issue to me.
