A Bulldogger name Mrs Upham made availibe the following schedule reflecting growth rate of bulldog puppies. The Average Weight of 46 Bulldog Pups at birth -was 15 ounces. She made up the Chart.
It would be interesting to see what average weight at birth now is. If some one who breeds could post what the weights are from 8 week to 2yrs just like this chart.
You ask why 52 I believe back then that was average size that the Uphams bred at that time. Kim
