Nearly two years ago, just a few days before Christmas, The JiNgLE BuLLs arrived to entertain the world. You've heard news up to yer eyeballs about the JiNgLe BuLLy Boy, Gabe...and, you've may have heard bits & pieces about the Other White WonderBull, Moxie--but there was ONE MORE WhiTey from WiNteRs PaSt...
Some of you will remember "Smooches", the third member of The JiNgLe BuLL litter... (for those who don't...or who would like a little peek at her bully babydom--here's some BLaSt-fRoM-De-PaSt photos)
Smooches went to live with a retired dentist & his wife here in town, just a short distance away from where she was born, & is now known as "Meg". Last week I had a chance to go visit Meg & her family & take some new photos!
Meg is quite the "Daddy's Girl" these days, which is no surprise--she was always drawn to Mart & The Boys when she was a tiny tyke.
Much more "feminine" than her BiG MoOSe BRoTheR, Gabe, Meg has developed into a nice, standard young ladybull (we MAY be bringing her out in the breed ring in the coming months if all goes well)
This little gal had QUiTE the adventure recently & it's a major miracle that she is still with us! It seems she had just arrived home after being out for a ride with her Dad one day, & as he opened his door, she suddenly spied a dog walking by out on the road & lickety-split jumped over Dad, out of the truck & raced into the road to greet the passerby!
As rotten luck would have it a car came by right at that moment & our little gal was run over!!! YiKES!!! With the Dogwalker & The Car Driver crying, and Dad frantically calling, Meg took off & was nowhere to be found. After searching for some time, it was suggested that possibly she'd snuck back into the house to find a safe spot...they looked, and sure enough, there she was cowering next to Dad's computer...a dirty white dog, with no obvious injury other than a small cut on her lip where her tooth had bumped it! They rushed her into the vet, where she was thoroughly checked over & monitored for a couple hours. Fortunately, they came to the conclusion that she was fine, albeit a very sore puppy for several days! Whew!
Anyway, Meg continues to delight her family & all she meets as a Top Notch BuLLY AmBaSSaDoR!
