An invitation to the Westminster KC show was my goal for 2008.. Dont know if we will be attending it or not but we got that long awaited Invitation in the mail
Though Booker is comfortably in the #4 spot now, when the Westminster deadline came and went we were in a deadlock with two other dogs It came down to the last win on the last day of the weekend. When the smoke cleared we maintained our #5 status by a mere 14 breed points. With the huge number of shows these dogs attended and then to have it come down to less than 30 breed points after 10 solid months of competition. It was a very stressful September and October to say the least.
Now it is time to relax and enjoy the last part of Bookers Specials career... The last three years have been a ride I will never forget. Special Thank you To Mike and Christy Otten who entrusted Booker to me so long ago.I dont think they ever dreamed that He and I would go so far.
