Here is the latest info on HB 1332. We anticipate it will be heard next week possibly on Monday. The last day of session is May 29 so time is short.
Now its crunch time and in order to voice your concern contact committee members and let them know that you oppose legislation that targets those who are law abiding, increases the tax burden for Oklahomans and does not solve the problem that it was intended.
HB 1332 heads for the General Conference Committee on Appropriations (GCCA) The GCCA is a continuing conference committee which hears all appropriation bills for consideration on the floor.

OAIA is a volunteer based private non-profit organization that works to provide public education and resources to help Oklahomans understand the truth about living with animals and the importance of the animal-human bond. Our membership consists of experts in a variety of animal related areas. Included are; veterinarians, horse owners, cat enthusiasts, bird enthusiasts, dog breeders, dog trainers, animal behavioral specialists, dog sport enthusiasts, pet owners, people who work directly with shelters, people that provide private rescue services and those that work through purebred dog clubs. Members have a direct interest in working to solve community problems relating to pets and their owners.
