Since I was confused...I'm sure I'm not the only one and thought I would throw this topic out there...If a dog/bitch wins breed from the classes and then continues on to take a Group 1...what does this mean in terms of points? One theory I have heard thrown about quite a bit is that if there were any other breeds that had a 5 point major and the Group winning dog/bitch was from the classes..that this dog/bitch would then pick up an additional major in addition to the one they received from their breed. Is this true or another urban legend in dog shows?? Without going to the AKC site, tell me what your best guess is. Thanks in advance.
