The fact that attitude and disposition are addressed in the opening paragraph of the standard which describes general appearance is an indicator of how very important temperament and behavior are in our breed. Nature vs nurture is a long, ongoing controversy, and an issue that must be taken into consideration when evaluting breeding stock.
