Punks do not discuss punk. What the Hell? It is accepted or not. You 15 year old boy (?) did not expect to be addressed by older, adult Punks? When, exactly, in your mind did Punk start? Good Charlotte is not Punk, I agree. What is Punk, is the old stuff. This neo-punk of the "now generation" is close. If you refer to lately bands like Libertines, Vines, among others that actually have Punk vibes, then okay. But if you forget about Replacements, Elvis, Blondie, Clash, Sex Pistols, who gave the new bands their sounds, then you are ignoring where Punk started. Have you been to England where REAL Punk still lives? Try that for a day. |
