I've been thinking instead of me picking one at random out of here would anybody be interested in compiling the choices and we can vote on which song goes up?

sounds like a plan. you have to limit it to like...not too many songs. and you've gots to make some kinda rule like a nominated song can't be nominated next week. otherwise the same songs will be nominated every week. and each wednesday you could start the voting for the next thursday (1 week away). but maybe you've got to keep the results all secret and stuff so its a suprise (or at least from monday on). am i complicating this too much?

ok here's the deal. each week we'll do a poll. the poll will launch on monday so all song requests must be in by sunday night.

the second and third place finishers from the previous week are automatically included in the next weeks poll.

i realize that some obscureish songs might have a tough time making it so you'll have to do your best to try and sell em...

any volunteers for being poll master? (uh huh huh.. i said 'pole')

Good idea Todd. However, you should really make one post per week for submissions to the poll, otherwise there will just be a flood of posts on here. Just make one post the day the new song goes up, like:


"Song requests for the week of X"

And we could list em.

The only problem I think would be that this is a pretty low activity board in the first place, so once the poll is up, everyone is just going to vote for the song they requested. It'll be a 10 way split.
