Hi , I started this thread in the hopes that others would like to share experiences that they have had or didn't understand.
Anything goes here as long as foul language does not apply.
Of course I thought I would start this out by sharing an experience of my own.

One of most rememberable experiences was about a psychic warning I recieved when I was seventeen.
It was a very pretty day in the spring that year .I remember very well.I had decided to walk the distance to the local library.
And for some reason I picked up this extremely large straw purse I had and I decided it would be useful in carrying my books home.I had a habit of getting 5 or 6 books every time I would go .
All went well on the first part of my trip .Which is about 10 blocks from my home.I got to the library and found 4 or 5 really large books that I thought would be interesting to read.So I checked out and headed on my way back home.
This was where things started to take a different path.
As I had just walked past the local Health Clinic it started to rain.The kind of rain that happens with the sun still shining so you know it isn't going to last long.So I began looking around for some nearby shelter from the elements.
Directly ahead of me I saw a house with a large tree in the front yard.I thought to myself that will do.
So I walked to the house and took shelter under the tree.
While I was standing under the tree I noticed this very large man walking quickly down the street.
I really didn't think much of anything at that point but as I was looking around I noticed that the house I was in front of was vacant and that nobody lived there.Suddenly I got a uneasy feeling and I looked fruther ahead and I saw another house two doors down that looked exactly like the one I was in front of big tree and all except there were two cars in the garage.
And for unknown reasons I decided that I prefered to move in front of the occuppied house.
So I quickly walked over to this house and took shelter under the tree in their yard.
While I was getting used to my new positon along came the large man that I mentioned earlier.
And he walked right up to me under the tree where I was taking shelter.
Again I felt very uneasy.I was thinking something isn't right here.Imediately I felt that I was in danger.
So although the man was acting very causual and friendly I had bells going off in my head big time.
Something told me not to answer his questions to me truthfully.
One of the things he asked me was if he could bum a cigerette because I was smoking one.(at this time my parents weren't aware of my little secret smoking habit but that's another story)
So I gave him a cigerette and a light.
All the time thinking about those heavy books that I had in that big straw handbag and how they could be a useful weapon in a pinch.He proceded with more casual conversation such as I don't think this rain will last long do you?
And do you live around here?
And then more private things such as where do you live?
Do you have a boyfriend?
During the middle of this I was suddenly hearing and seeing inside my head very loudly this man's voice and things pictures of things he was thinking.
All of this was very very strong like shouting loudly in my head.
I thought ...my God I can hear this guy's thoughts!!!!
But what I was hearing was very very scary indeed.I was hearing him say nobody lives in this house and things terrible things that he wanted to do to me .I saw pictures of him dragging me into an empty house and raping me And beating me and strangleing me.

Suddenly this very sirene calmness came on me and I knew that I would be O.K. All fear left me even though I could hear and see all these things screaming in my head.
And I took a stronger grip on the handbag with the heavy books inside.
Then it came the more revealing questions of what his intentions were.
"Nobody lives in this house do they?" he said.
I reply looking him straight in the eye calmly and sweetly feeling a enpowerment within myself that not even I understood," No ,there's two cars in the garage ....LOOK."
At this the man stared surprised a the garage and his mouth dropped open.
I took that oppurnity to make a quick excuse about catching a ride with a friend that lived nearby and without waiting for a reply took off in the direction I had come from.
When I was no more than about thirty feet away from the man a police car whissed by with it's sirens and lights .They had came from around the corner where I was headed .And the man began running in the opposite direction of me with the police going after him in hot prusuit.
By this time I was almost to the health Clinic building that I had passed before .Right after the police passed me three or four people came running towards me from out of that building.
They were very concerned and were asking me if I was Okay.
They told me that they had been watching the man while he was talking to me and that they had been very concerned for my saftey.It turns out that they had been the ones to call the police and it wasn't because of him talking to me but the events that had happened just shortly before he aproached me.
The following is the story that they relayed to me.It seems that this same man had been inside the clinic just before and while he was in there they said he looked like he was wired on drugs or something and had insisted that one of the workers let him use their phone.She wasn't given a chance to reply he reached across the counter and grabbed her by the throat and started choking her for no reason.Then he left out of there and headed towards me.
At this moment I knew that if I had still been standing near that man when the police came thru that he would have taken me hostage.And I also knew that everything I had seen in my head was what would have occured if I hadn't moved from in front of the first empty house.
I am sure that at the exact moment I moved from house one to house number two was also the moment he just happened to not be looking.Because it is for sure when he first saw me he knew that I was standing in front of an empty house and he was so surprised when he saw I was not in front of an empty house.
I didn't know what it all meant.But I knew that something very powerful was on my side for me to experience the things and telepathy that I did.
And even thou this was not my first special experience or my last it is something I will never forget.
I went home that day and told my MOM that God had just saved my life.At that time I really didn't understand that even thou I was right , I still didn't have the whole picture .I still wasn't aware of the gifts ,that I had that had been working in me all along.
Did God save me? Yes, I believe he did .But I also belive it was a sign to me of things to come and of a very special gift that I was not aware of yet.
Did they catch that guy? I don't know .But I never saw him again.

I have people telling me all the time about their unique experiences .So I'm sure I'm not the only one to have something unusual happen to them and defininty not the last.

I have had a very rewarding and peacefull experience that I think was related to the spiritual world. My grandmother died in 1995 and I was very perplexed at the time about death and heaven and exactly what happened after someone dies. It was becoming a daily thought and starting to really bother me.
I had a wonderful dream one night about my grandmother, she was in the ceiling and I could see her and 2-3 other figures behind her that I think were my grandfathers that have passed on as well. She told me all about the wonderful feelings she was having and that it was a wonderful happy place. She told me that she came to answer my question and that she couldn't come all the time but that she will always be there when I need her.
I have always worked my problems out in my dreams but have never had "someone" come and talk to me in one. I have also always thought that my grandfathers have watched out for me and protected me during my life so far. So seeing them behind her gave me more peace.
I awoke the next morning very refreshed and had no more questions about death and heaven.
I don't know if this truly qualifys but I thought I would share.

Hi Tracy ,
I was reading your post and wanted to thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us.
From my personal experience and from the stories of others that I have heard it sounds like you have had a visitation.
Visitations seem to differ from just regular dreams in a few very main ways.
One, they are very clear and rememberable.Most people remember the dream for the rest of there life.

Two , everyone that I know of that's had one always awoke happy and content and with a feeling of such amazing peace that just seemed to premet everything in there life.

Three, there always seems to be a message that is important to the reciever.

It is my belief that this dream you had was one of these visitations.

I'm sure you will treasure it always.

And yes I do believe it fits the topic .
