Zenith 27" with horizontal line and only top of picture... ?

I have a Zenith (I know... just throw it away!) 27" tv that has a problem that I've seen in several TVs, but I've never tried to fix them.

There is a bright white line that goes across the middle of the screen near the middle. There is a picture from that line to about 1" from the top of the tube.

This problem has been for a while, but it just started to emit a high-pitched noise. That is all that has changed.

Anyone have an idea of what it might be??

Locks like you have a Vertical problem , Verify this area for a Cap. Damage or IC.
