menu on Pioneer projection without using remote

Can someone please tell me how to get to the screen settings (contrast, color, etc) on a Pioneer projection TV (SD-P4571-K) without using the remote, by just using the buttons on the front of the tv

Did you ever find out how to adjust the brightness? My parents have one of these and can't really afford something new. I wanted to surprise them and fix this one. Any idea?
