I have this projo a week ago from a friend.I notice that the red both left and right side (OK at the center)are sepparating from the rest of the color horizontally.Itlook's like the red is bit wider than the others.The Convergence on the menu doesn't correct the problem. Some tips told me to obtain the remte control and keyed Diplay,5,volume+ then power.It seem alright but don't know what to do next.Maybe somebody on this website can guide me so I can adjust the red witdh or access the convergence setup. thanks in advance. If this set was manufactured in mid 90's, 1994, I would look for components that have lost some or all their value before getting into the service menu.

You can not repair a componet failer by screwing around in the service menu. there are two Ic's that have to be replaced and possible a fuse, but luckly you whent in to the service menu and changed some value so it still won't work right. What you guys are doing is trying to fix a flat tire by beating the crap out of the engine with a tire iron. Service menus and service convergance menus are hidden for a reason. Bet the nice guy who gave you the code did not give you about 23 pages that deal with how to electronicly fix the convergance curcuit or calibrate the flash focus, or how about the test genarator to calibrate the set?
