JVC TV Fault - Model AV-28GTISUF

Help! Can anyone assist in offering technical advice to the following fault on the above JVC model TV. Fault: Turn TV on (via On/Off button) - standby light comes on (red) - stays red for a few seconds before changing to green, then standby light fades to no light and nothing else happens i.e. no screen or sound activity. Turn TV on again and fault repeats itself as above.

The eprom must be changed and reprogrammed.
The best way is to program a empty one with a dump
otherwise it's a lot of work.
But first check the LOT; could be shorted too,if it's not
change the eprom.

sorry, i ment the HOT not the LOT ( horizontal output transistor)and capacitors around!

check the HOT and capitor around if ok try also check the FLY BACK TRNSFORMER...
