My tv faded to black as I was watching it. When I go to turn it on a beep beep noise comes out of the back, no picture. Prior to this the convergence was out of adjustment, which I fixed. My question is, is there a fuse or breaker I can check before I call the repairman? Oh, the tv is two year old 51 inch hi definition 51pw9303.

If it is a bulb (and I can see all of them), would there be any way (safely) I can take them out and check them?

IS THE TV A REAR PROJECTION? AND IS WHAT YOU CAN PICTURE TUBES? RED, GREEN, & BLUE? IF IT IS ,THEN YOUR TV DOES NOT HAVE A BULB.

I can see 3 - 6 inch long bulbs. The manuel does'nt say rear projection. It says 51" digital widescreen HDTV monitor

You probably have a shorted component inside. The front panel led is probably blinking an error code which you'd need the service manual to interpret. Yes, your TV IS a rear projection, and NO those are NOT bulbs!
Sounds like you need to call in a qualified repairman.
