Panasonic CT-27G7DF Chassis TP363 this set will switch on but cannot select any channels.
when get into the menu setup page it will only select the language,channel search page and any button push after that it come out to the exit select
and exit on any button touch.
then the same routine starts over and over again.
ie menu -- setup -- language,channel search page -- exit select -- exit.
I try another eprom(24wc08pi) but the same routine accurs.
anyone know how to solve this problem.
your help will be much appreciated.

If you are having these problems from using the sets front panel buttons and not the remote ...then i would first check out the front panel controls.
Look for water damage that can come from someone cleaning the screen causing excess water to control panel area...i have seen this very often.

with what you say I would suspect you have had your tuner zapped try going to AV and see if you can feed in somehing there. If so your tuner is faulty
