I was watching Baseball playoffs and the TV just went off. I switched it off and on many times, but no luck. It turns on because I can see the RED light in front but no picture or sound. When I press the MENU, I can just something displayed on the screen but its not clear. Is the tube gone.

wel the model your describing is a 53 inch projection tv made by panasonic the numbers your giving must be coming from the front of the owners manual it is hard from your describtion what your seing but all i have for this model is a known vert prob. if i was in the home and i turned up one of the screen controls i would get a line across screen WHAT DO YOU SEE ON SCREEN?

me again i'll check my data base downstairs at the shop tomorrow see if i can come up with known prob for that model fish bowl then out right?
