| I have a Toshiba Model 53H71 Manufactured Oct 2001
I am looking for the technical schematics so I can troubleshoot my problem.
I have the same issue of tv not turning on. Red Power Indicator flashes.
The power unit is fine.
It does not reset by leaving it powered off for any amount of time.

What have you checked thus far? fuse(s), HOT, HV section solder joints, HOT driver bad solder, P/S, rectifier diodes?

So I figured it out on my own.
A combination of power supply AND that other thingy ... LOL.
Thanks anyway.
I no longer need the schematic, but feel free to post it and I'll check back in a week to see if this site is worth anything.
