Standoff Resistor

Can I replace a Standoff Resistor myself, and how do i do that?

Resolder it like someone suggested and see if it cures the fault.

READ THE PREVIOUS POSTS HERE REGARDING YOUR PROBLEM. Your set is an easy fix. You simply have a bad solder connection. Get someone to solder the bottom of the resistor for you if you can't do it yourself.
If only most teevee repairs were this easy...........

As Dave states Most TEA VEE repairs are harder. You must take the resistor out, remove all solder and with a file clean the legs till bright or is that brite, then solder the leg to tin it and remove any excess. Refit the resistor and solder it in. If you try to daub solder on a connection that has arc'd it will never make correctly. Start from scratch.
