Hi, This tv is only 3 yrs old and last night it would not shut off with the switch or the remote. I pushed in the reset switch on the front and now all it will do is flash a green light when you plug it in or reset it again. This flashes for about 1 1/2 minutes and nothing else happens/. I've tried the 4 hour unplugging and still the same. Any help would be appreciated. I hate to scrap the set. Thanks in advance.

You are dealing with mains power, You have to strip the set, get the correct part, unsolder the old one and solder the new one in. Can you do that? well the best guy to know that is you.
