I have a 27 inch TV, nothing fancy, and its just used to watch movies on, but when press play on the dvd player, the screen is black, with one while line down the middle of the screen. I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas to if its worth repairing, or what it could be.

2. Model Number?
3. Age of set?
4. Is the line horizontal or vertical?
5. Did this problem happen all of a sudden or was it intermittent at first?
6. Do you have normal sound?
7. Does this problem only happen when watching DVDs or also when watching the normal cable channels?
