SONY KV271832 "DOA"

My 14 year old 27" trinitron just died. No warning, just "kapoot". First I thought the power had went off in the house, but that was not the case. Anybody got any ideas?

Are you sure about this model number? Can't seem to locate anything on it...please check the back of the set and list all pertinant data.

Your right, it appears to be KV27TS32. "My bad".

Check Fuse F601 (6.3 amps). That is the main input AC line fuse. If it is blown, a short exists.

Also check Q601,Q602,and R644 behind heat sink maybe open.
