when powered up there is a constant clicking, i changed loptr bu508df, powered up & set then went into standby & no clicking,switched on set & there was a flash of colour & a loud buzzing noise, turned it off & found it had taken out the loptr again, any suggestions please!

check the line drive transformer for dry joints check the large tuning capacitors, if those are all OK its the flyback transformer.
