the horizontal output keep shorted..everytime i changed it with new one..it keeps shorted..always shorted.

i tried to hang the horizontal yoke...the unit run normal..i checked the deflection coil...good,no any indication of burned.

any idea??

in case of the HOT (Horiz. output tranzistor) keep burning, it is usualy some electrolyte in HOT-base drive circuit (high ESR/low capacity).

Other common problem is Flyback transformer breakdown.

thanks for the reply sir...i suspect flyback is bad but i doubt because it runs normal everytime i hang the horizontal yoke..but i going to try your suggestions..thanks again
