The problem is that the TV turns on (has power and input) and then the screen will go blank. The light at the bottom stays lit up so it's not like the cord was unplugged, but the screen is blank. If you turn the power off and turn it back on, sometimes the picture will return but not usually. Typically I will have to leave it off for an hour or so and then it will be functional.
I was told that it sounds like the unit was overheating and shutting down. Potential problem with the power source? How do I go about diagnosing and fixing this issue?
