Hello. My television is an RCA, model F20TF10, chassis TX809.
My problem is that the TV will not power-on anymore. I hear the initial high-pitched whine like it's going to power on normally for about a second, but then it stops and nothing happens. It sometimes does this three times in a row.
I dunno if it's related, but this did start after I opened the case to look inside. There's been a broken pin from a crappy RF-switch I used in the coax connector forever, and I got sick of not being able to plug an antenna in to watch TV on the thing, so I wanted to see if it'd be possible to change the connector. I didn't touch the circuit board or anything, and I know my way around computers so I know how to watch for ESD, and I'm certain I didn't fry anything. But, since then, the computer has refused to power-on. I've read from other sources about leaving it unplugged for 4 or so hours to reset the EEPROM (I think it was), but that didn't do anything.
I also went back in to check the fuse, but the only one I saw didn't look burned out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
