Help! we just bought a JVC AV-48WP74 from a friend. When we got it home and
turned it on, we noticed that the green is overwhelming! We have tried to auto and manual converge the picture, adjusted the tint, color, picture, brightness, detail, and color temp. Nothing seems to make any difference in the color of the picture. Anyone have any CHEAP suggestions? Thank you!

just replace one of the video drivers on the crt board, normaly you have 3 transistors on that board. RED- GREEN- AND BLUE drivers and get the diode position on you DMM and measure all the pins they should measure same between pins in all the drivers.
