Toshiba model TP55G90

I'm looking for a schematic and wiring diagram for this TV.I have a power problem and have been told that it is the voltage regulator chips.I wan't to take readings before I replace. PROBLEM(WIFE TURNED OFF TV AND IT WON'T COME ON,TV GOES INSTANDBY STATUS AND BLINKS THE POWER LIGHT)

Most likely it is the convergence Integrated Circuit chips. Should be STK392-110. There will be 2 of these and they will be mounted to a large heatsink. They are about 3" wide by 2" high. Open up the back and take a look around and see if you can find them.

In many cases, replacing just both chips solves the problem...however, there are many resistors in that area connected to these chips that should be tested to make sure that they are ok. There are many that are low ohm value and they will burn open (& often don't look burnt just to look at them) and they MUST be replaced. Depending upon how the chip(s) died, they can take out resistors too.

If you are handy with a soldering iron and an ohm meter, you might want to attempt this task. Many online parts warehouses have that part.
