I just picked up this mondo ... absolutely about the heaviest TV in the world ... at an estate sale for $50. It's a 30" Toshiba ... CT3062A .. I'm at work .. I may have the model incorrect ... but it's CT****A.
When it is on, the bottom 1/3 of the picture is geometrically inaccurate ... as if it's "stretched" a bit down ... strange looking ...
Can anyone suggest a hunch on the cause?
I do not know how to access any type of verticle corrections on the beast .... there
re no (external) knobs ... is there a simple pot I can tweak inside?
I'm pretty electronics savvy, though not very TV fluent.
Thanks zillions for any help.

There is no knobs to turn. There just may be a lin control but that is not the issue. You have capacitors in the vertical stage drying out, any attempt to fix that gy djustment is a waste of time.
