I have a Hitachi 43FDX20B that has sound, but no picture. It only shows a few groups of horizontal lines (about 10), and you can see the individual red, green, and blue lines in each group.



I have a lot of experience with electronics and replacing parts, but I have never worked on a TV like this before. I'm looking for a copy of the schematics so I can start checking to see what's wrong, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry that picture is so big, it was taken with my phone, and didn't appear that big on the image hosting site.

I get this same few horizontal lines on any of the inputs, and I only have it plugged into the Antenna A input. However, I only get sound from the input that is connected.

I think it might be vertical control and possibly convergence, but I'm not an expert at this. But I do have a ton of experience with soldering electronic equipment, resistors, capacitors, transistors, chips, etc., just no experience fixing TVs, but I would love to learn more.

I appreciate any comments and help anyone can give.

replace the jungle IC

Okay, I found a service manual online with schematic (I hope) and it should be here in a few days. I will check the Jungle IC. Any other thoughts as to what it could be, or something else I should check?

Also, why do you think it's the Jungle IC?
