Hi, I am in need of someone's expertise on this LCD Projection unit. It has a cover like shape at center of screen. I opened the sides and can see the odd shape being reflected from lens into screen. Not familiar with this units. I was told it could be what they call the engine board. I cleaned lens and no change. Unit powers up fine with picture and sound. Convergence looks fine. I never seen something like this. All I can think of it is reflected somehow from bottom of lens into screen. Any assistance is greately appreciated. It it is the board mentioned is this unit worth fixing. Thank you once again.

P.S. I attempted to insert image, but was unable to.

Is it simply dust or foreign object in light path.

The shape of the object sure does not look like a squashed bug. But has perfect angles sides and lines. Almost looks like an SD card like shape on one end. Reading some posts, aparently it is comon for this units to collect dust on lamp and cause image quality issues. Also states it is not an easy job for someone who has not removed the lens to be cleaned. I am hoping it is just debre. But again it is a perfect cover like shape. I thank any assistance provided. my email is martinchiva1@hotmail.com. I have gone to fletcher site but no help on this problem.
