I have a Samsung Model TC9855T that's almost 20 years old (The plate states that it was manufactured Nov. 1989). It's a spare that has been used in a bedroom. Yesterday I was hooking up a VCR to the TV using a coax line. When I turned the TV on there was a "P 1" shown in the upper right of the screen. This is where the channel number would be shown or the volume meter. I reconnected the cable but I can't get rid of it and the set does not change channels using the set or the remote. The channels don't change even if I have it switched from cable to air!! I'm assuming the tuner has died? Or something like that? Any ideas?
