Your box is wrong, From memory the box is international and not correctly set for where you are. Chances of a fix is not good. Where I am we started to have an issue on one channel only when they upgraded their signal, the cheap set top boxes could not handle it. The fix would be to upgrade or reset the box to the correct specs, this would be done with a laptop, an interface and a program on the computer.

Hi, rrobor,
I appreciate you assistance. I'll try to get someone
to put a program on my computer and do as you suggested.
My original thought was that the scart leads might not be
of sufficient quality so I changed them, but no use. Didn't
fancy spending £40 each for gold-plated ones though!
Again, thanks. Norman.

Im sorry but you did not read or comprehend what I said. I take my car for a service and they open up and plug a lead into the computer. They then reads the gas in, and the gas out, and the content of that gas, they can then set the car computer for the best setting. Your box needs to be set like that. As the thing is probably Chinese made by Mr Woo when it was too dark to plant rice the chances of that are remote.
