Hi, glad to be on this forum, here to learn a bit, hopfully one day I can be of some help too.
I have a 27 inch CRT JVC TV that is set up in my living room. I put in a airconditioner in the window, about 4 feet from the tv and when the airconditioner cycles every once and a while the picture on the tv will expand and contrast. Can this cause damage to the TV, my TV is pretty old now, about 7 years old, and it has started to show lines across the top and the picture is starting to turn white, it takes a long time to heat up too when I turn it on.
I hope someone can help.
Thanks
Terry

Bullshit. If the AC is 4 feet away its not causing your TV nn issue. You are basicly complaining of dried out electrolytics in two stages, but dont give us crap as to your air con. The TV loves that thing. Rob.

First off I am not an expert, so there is no need for the attitude, secondly maybe I frazed my question wrong. Alls I was asking was about the airconditioner, when the airconditioners refridgeration unit cycles up, the picture on my TV will expand and contract, like the picture will get big for a second and go back to the original size; it is like when you turn on a vacume cleaner when the TV is on. I have tried different outlets in the wall, but it still does it, can it cause damage to the TV over time.
I have a tube tv not a LCD.
Hope this helps.

Another lame forum on the internet, what a surprise....if there is no one here to respond, think it's time to take down the forum, just taking up space for no reason.
Later.
