My 1997 32in RCA ctc 187 cn3 just quit and will not turn on either by remote or push button. It has been taking a couple attempts to get it to turn on for awhile, now it just quit. I scraped off the wiring diagram and only found a few items that looked promising....cr4303 startup diode....f4001 line fuse....sw3411 power on off.
I read other postings that suggested a flyback transformer problem on RCA, whatever that is, I did not find it on my diagram.
Any ideas or do I have to buy a new one?

Sorry but you dont know how a TV works so the chances of fixing it is remote. Its not the flyback so dont look for that, its probably something in the supply.
