Dead CRT?

Hello,

I need help with an analog TV screen problems.
I can hear the sound while flipping channels and when I plug the TV out to a video capture card I can see all channels on the computer so the tuner is working, however the CRT is completely black and no longer has the usual electrostatic feeling when I touch it but the cathode light is turned on when I turn ont the TV. This problem happened when I smelled a capacitor frying at the same time the screen went black and I found the 100uF/250V electrochemcial cap and replaced it. However, I still have a black screen. Any idea what possibly went wrong?

Thanks!

Martha
