i have a 52" rca . was watching tv heard a crackling noise and the tv turned off. when i turned it back on had no sound or pic,and the power light would go on and off 4 or 5 times then stay off. any suggestions?????????

Yeah, I have a couple. Give us a chassis number for starters. It sounds like your set has a bad flyback transformer, HV splitter or one of the picture tubes. Unless you have ANY electronics experience, you are not going to fix it.
Best to call out an experienced TV tech to diagnose the problem for you.
