I have a sharp television(less tha 1yr old) and we went to move it and I thought the cable had been unscrewed but it had not. It pulled the cable connection out of the TV. Can this be repaired or is there somekind of adapter that I can buy to screw the cable into and then use the plug in connections?
Hope this makes sense. Thanks

that is part of your tuner, there is no easy fix, the usual is pull the tuner out and refit the socket that you broke providing it didnt damage the board. The other method is change the tuner and these can be costly. A third option is use something else as a tuner and feed a signal in as AV in.

I am electronically challenged. Do you mean like hook it up thru a VCR or DVD player? I was wondering if that would work.
Thank you very much

Anything with a tuner and an AV output will work as long as you dont forget to unplug and rip the guts out of that
