I've got a monster 1999 Sony 36XBR200 that has started acting strange only for composite and cable TV input. When watching cable, the picture is a dark blurry reddish and sometimes flickers. When watching S-video or component input (ie DVD), the picture is perfect.
Since the comb filter is only used for composite and cable inputs, I'm guessing that's the problem (sony part # 1-473-983-11)... but maybe something else like tuner block? Any help is greatly appreciated!!
(Also - if you have a part supplier you'd recommend, that'd be great too.)
