Sharp TV problem

I'm hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I have a Sharp LC-32AV22U that is probably about 4+ years old now. This evening we attempted to turn it on and the indicator light just flashed red/green and made a clicking sound like it was turning on/off. I thought it was loose power connection and while the connection at the outlet wasn't seeded fully it still isn't working right after correction. The previous problem went away but now all that is heard is mid-range hum when any connected input is activated (tried HDMI, VCR, DVD all get the same noise). Picture is perfect but no sound for whatever you are watching, just this noise. The hum reminds me of what you would here in car stereo with a bad ground except this one isn't has high pitched but is very loud.

I'm even hoping that someone might be able to tell what circuit board I should replace. I took the back apart to see if anything stood out like a bad connection or burnt out transistor but don't see anything noticeable. Parts for this thing are pretty cheap and I hate to throw away a TV that in my eyes isn't all that old. Thanks for the assistance!

Erik
