Does anyone know the minimum age for a player on a team that competes in the over 18's league? This may seem a stupid question, but a team in my area play a 16 year old and i have just started training with a over 18's team and would like to know when i will eligible to get a game?

As a *general* rule no one under 14 years of age can play in an adult (or open) league. For competitions sponsored by All England (thats effectively ECL and NCL) the age limit for Open squads is 18 years and above. Where an age range competition is available (such as the ECL merit leagues at U16 and U18) then you can only play up one age group thus an U16 can compete with an Under 18 and an Under 14 can play for an U16. BUT for an under 18 to play for an open squad the player must have approval from the National Performance Director.

Hope this helps
