Pukpuks suck!!

the selection process to select the pukpuks is still questioned... some of the same players,
that featured 3, 4 years ago are still on the line up..
M sure there are alot of new guns that come every year; why cant the pukpuk selection panel
try out those new talents instead of sending the same old loosers only to
be waisted by the non-rugby playing nations..
Its a shame to get wasted by non-rugby playing national teams...

In PNG they seem to be playing like real professionals and when it comes to games like this, they just suck big time...
what a waste of money sending those loosers down to NZ, just be beaten...
Look at Kenya...they are bloody damn good.... why cant PNG be like they?...

what can we say....wantok system is still there.......
Willie Rikis cannot even run fast, why pick him.....douglas guise has been given thousands of shots at 7's Rugby, he still hasnt proven anything.

one thing that is good for sure is the speed we have...the Ponda brothers..lightning mi tok.....I know Aiem Pilokos is an old horse but i reckon he will perform bettter then Rikis.....and with a work horse like Danny Khaisir...we are in good shape....except for rikis and guise.....

Send those loosers back home.... i mean where the phuck is the fruits of the millions of kina that the IRB gives to PNGRFU?..
IRB gives PNGRFU a million bux a year and where is that money going to.???.. i mean we would have seen the result of that million being displayed on the paddock...... surely the rugby fan in PNG needs to know that...

Someone has to be held responsible for that....its either the PNGRFU management or the coach...
Someone, somewhere has to coff the blame.....

Our boys were out muscled by lil guys..i mean how pathetic is that?... they looked physically unfit... not mentally prepared to play as well too.....

I'm just plain embarrased to watch my fello country men being beaten by weak teams...and i just refuse to accept that, its just reality year after year... and god knows when this will change...
Perhaps a change of of line-up of players would help as well too, which i doubt the coaches give a blind eye to it as well too...

Rugby Union is not a main stream sport in PNG. When you play the Samoan team and hold them to 22-0. Then our boys tried hard! because they are the second string All Black!!!

So don't lose heart we're improving. Not so long PNG were beaten by Samoa in the SP Games for a cricekt score!!

Go on you PUKPUKS!!

yesss i agree with you !!! i have also been told by my kiwi friends and i don't blame the Pukpuks for loosing...as PNG am rugby league country ya..just give them some more years and who knows PNG will be one of the top teams in the sevens.

I know this guys really sweat their guts out...and try to make PNG proud...who are we to judge them.

i think the public should stop being negative ,but give positive comments, so that we can motivate them.

I have cried my eyes out watching the pukpuk's loose , not because i am embaressed or sad...but beacuse i love my country to death and watching them play, in the eyes of the international community and representing PNG as a whole ment alot to me ...i've been called names after the sevens games, like looser, or PNG u suck, but i fight back and i defend my country and i don't care coz i guess thats the cost of loving my country and being a proud patriot.

Good luck Pukpuks in the future.

God bless PNG

Cheers

Is there so much of a difference between rugby union and league, canadas national sport is ice hockey how come they still beat us, wake up... Some of those players have been coming to the sevens for the past 3 years or more they should be able to play they game to some extent of competancy...

Hey Welly girl, if you wanted to cry for your country you shoud have watched the U19's play Cook Islands in Auckland last month our boys were half their sizes but they played one hell of a game. They took a beating, but they still put 100% effort into the game till the last minute.

They made me proud to be a Papua New Guinean.......

Nothing against the players, just an observation peeps...our sevens team needed new blood for some style, spark and flare. Look at the other teams....nogat ol kela or over weight paps, they all trim, firm and full of energy, fresh new blood.
Man!! Try the golden oldies....incase you don't know this but over 30 is retirement time in rugby years folks.

Tru yah, the pukpuks were full of fat, unfit oldies who struggled to run the ball, What happen to the selectors, sevens is meant for young, fast, and players who have alot of stamina. Other countries always field young players in their teams, you wouldn't see any 15 aside players in the sevens, get real, I'm sure we have better players out there that have been overlooked,
