Jeff Halpern is...
3-8-11 in his last 12 games.
6-13-19 in his last 22 games.

Alexander Semin is...
3-4-7 in his last 5 games.
5-5-10 in his last 12 games.
13th among rookies in goals (9), tied with Staal and Rycroft who played more games and got more time of ice.

Kip Miller is...
3-6-9 in his last 12 games.

Josef Boumedienne is...
1-4-5 in his last 3 games.

Brian Willsie is...
3-1-4 in his last 5 games.

"13th among rookies in goals (9), tied with Staal and Rycroft who played more games and got more time of ice."

But, considering his position, I think Raycroft's 9 goals are a bit more impressive.

Good post, Marc, it's great to see Halpern re-establishing himself. Semin really sounds like he could be something in this league. People are raving about him everywhere!

I believe that Rycroft is a (personal) friend of our Willow. Anyway, he's a little old, compared to the other rookies. If you take into account the time of ice and the games played, Semin's numbers are similar to those of the promising Matt Stajan and Jason King. But Semin is only starting to produce, so I think he's not far from guys like Ryder, Hunter, Malone, Ruutu and Bergeron... Like the fans of their teams, we can be proud of our wunderkind.

Oops, Rycroft is actually a friend of Rachel (ChiliCat), who posted in a game thread some time ago:

"At least my friend Mark Rycroft did good on the blues. He looked alot better then he did in Worcester."

Halpern is now 7-16-23 in his last 26 games...

and 5-12-17 in his last 17 games!

I guess he deserves a spot on one of our top two lines, now (the future ones, I mean).
