Also, I've seen people bringing back threads and posts from the recent (and not so recent) past, so I have one from the official boards. They "disappear into the mists of time" over there, as Paul McCartney once said about something, after 30 days. This one is getting close enough to the 30 day limit that, if I forget it a while longer, it would be gone for good. I'll stick it here, where it can suffer in silence, yet be available in archive form for the use of our posterity (or maybe that's our posteriors- I was never certain. Hey! The thought just struck me- is a posterior a superior poster? Yikes!).
It's rare that I'm actually "proud" of a post, but this one.... clever, if I do say so myself. It was in a thread looking for nicknames for Ovechkin, should the Caps draft him.
After several others came up with feeble efforts like "the Big O" and such, I came up with this:
